TELUS has informed the Town that spring restoration work remains in a holding pattern as they wait for frozen ground to thaw and drain. TELUS will continue to monitor safety hazards and install temporary protections where needed.
Downtown has a new look! A new series of banners are being installed along Main Street and the intersections of 50 to 53 Avenue to celebrate the completion of downtown and showcase the spirit of Stony Plain.

Updates to Land Use Bylaw Make Way for Stony Plain’s New Housing Strategy. A public hearing for the Land Use Bylaw was held at last night’s Council Meeting.
The Town will begin rehabilitation work on Rotary Park bridge starting Monday, April 11. The project will involve concrete pile jacketing and upgrading erosion protection and the bridge will be closed for the duration of the construction project.
TELUS has informed the Town of Stony Plain crews will be in the Oatway Drive area next week for remediation work.
